Darkness
WOW! I thought this was a well done production for a mini dv short. The narration, camera work, editing and acting was excellent. This short was damn near perfect and I am making a bold prediction to state this short has my vote as one of the filmmakers to win the next online festival. The story and narration, the creepy visuals. This production has it all. Well done..... this is filmmaking at it's finest. Stay creative. -- February 26, 2004 - 5:23 PM

Amazing!
This film was just flat out amazing. The lead actor did a very creepy voice over and a fairly disturbing performancce. The camera work was very clever how it was used to simulate the presence of the demons haunting the protagonist. The constant fade outs and shadow work was flat out brilliant! Honestly, I couldn't find anything wrong with this film. Great work gentlemen!-- February 27, 2004 - 1:19 PM

Reflected!
Superior work in post production makes this film a standout on the site. Really just a poem with visuals and sound, but they are oh so powerful. Likening death to a life in an office has been done before but this spin on it is truly a fascinating watch. Great song at the end as we pull away from this guy's personal real life hell. The voice over is commanding and forceful, and rattled through my 5.1 surround system into the ground. Sound effects editing is also great. Interesting look, as if lighted with a flashlight beam, or perhaps night vision. The old man haunting him really creeped me out, especially his reflection in the mirror - I jumped at that scene. Great work with the CG images. Superior work in make-up and costumes, your hellish creatures did look straight from hell, and the locations are exactly right. This is close to perfect, my kind of short film. -- March 3, 2004 - 8:25 PM

Not bad at all!
great visuals. i found it a little long. they pulled out all the scary tricks and did it pretty good. the ring looking person, the person walking infront of the camera. i would liked to have seen a scarier demon in the shower. the music was good. the actor did a fine job and it was very well edited. they did their homework and pulled off a prety good film. congrats. -- March 5, 2004 - 2:29 PM
